Wooden Letters!
These letters are 18 inches tall. A child 12 months or older can usually hold them with ease. I just have to be quick because once they realize the make noise when they fall, it's usually all over. 
This is a great idea for a child's room! You can either have it done on a storyboard (20x10) or as individual pictures that you put into a frame with the amount of openings according to the number of letters in the name.
Here's a gift idea! For my kids Grandmother (Memaw), I had them each hold a letter of her name (M E M A W) and then I put the 4x6's into a 5 picture frame...it was a GREAT Christmas gift last year! She LOVED it. No other Memaw has one like it!
