This is a cutie patootie from the new school down the road!

This little boys Mom called me a month or so back and said, "I have an active 2 year old that I just can't get good pro pictures done of.  He won't sit still long enough to get good shots."  I knew EXACTLY what she meant...you know why?  Because I photograph kids like that ALL the time!  It's the part I love...a challenge! 

And in my studio, almost anything goes.  I will never ask your child to sit still.  We act goofy, we dance in tutus, make funny faces, build furniture, throw balls, and when it's all said and done I've gotten some great shots of these little active ones running across the backdrops!

Anyway, this little guy did really really well, with the help of his folks too!  I got lots and lots of good shots, here's just a few I wanted to share.

I am quickly closing in on the end of my senior season!  I roll into my Christmas season about mid October and at that time, I am done with seniors until spring.  So, if you are a senior this year and you'd like to have some unique portraits done for your senior photos I need to set up your appointment as soon as possible.  I typically book about 2-3 weeks out so pop me an email and we can see what we have available.  Don't wait until October to contact me, it will be too late.

This is another senior I had the pleasure of working with!  I had done her sister's two years ago...boy does time fly!

This is just some of the fun we can have in the studio with a leather jacket, a big cowboy hat, a pair of jeans and some boots!

Here's a senior I had the pleasure of spending time with a couple of weeks ago! While browsing some action shots from the recent football game, I noticed her pictures online at another local photogs web site today too!  

Q-T-Pie!

The Madison parks and rec. 12U baseball team went to district this year and then slid into a seed at state.  So off to Williamsburg they all went.  Even though they finished 5th out of 8 teams, they had a great time and it was a good experience for this young team.   They beat Arlington and were able to compete with teams like Glen Allen and Summit Point...nuf said!

Here are some of my favorite action shots from the post season with this special team.

You may recognize them, I've taken these kids pictures before, what dolls.  I hear a lot that my kids look like their Dad, and in this case...these guys favor their Dad too!

Recently I've had a flood of seniors call in for appointments!  It's been AWESOME! I love working with teens, especially when we go on location.  This is a senior I had a session with a few weeks ago, just now getting a chance to post it.
